Benjamin Fazio Helps RPI Men's Cross Country to NCAA Championship

Benjamin Fazio of East Greenwich 02818 is a member of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) cross country team that has recieved an automatic berth for the NCAA Championship Meet after a second place finish at regionals. The national championship will be held on Saturday, November 19 at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky. The men's race begins at noon.

Geneseo, the second ranked team in the nation, finished first with 51 points, followed by RPI's 87. The Engineers, who last participated in the national meet in 1996, are ninth in the latest Division III coaches poll.
