Madeline Sturm Earns Academic Cross Country Honor

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athlete Madeline Sturm of Bristol 06010 has earned All-Academic recognition by the The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Earning individual All-Academic recognition was Sturm. To earn that distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher and finish in the top 25 percent at their respective regional. The a sophomore was 54th in the regional (22:33.5) and 204th at nationals (22:39.8) after earning All-Liberty League Second Team recognition. She is a chemical engineering major.
